"We were so blessed to be able to stay at Hope Lodge initially for four months...and many times after as we needed. There are really not enough words to express our feelings of love and gratitude for Hope Lodge. Truly a 'home away from home', but even better. It was at Hope Lodge that Henry was finally able to talk about his cancer with Hope Lodge patients and was then really able to begin to face and deal with his cancer emotionally. It IS a place that has made a world of difference for LIFE for Henry and me and many others dealing with cancer."

“The American Cancer Society in Guam informed me of Hope Lodge. The process was easy, it’s just getting [to Oahu]. Once we got here, in a couple of days, we checked in. The staff – great people – you cant ask for more energetic, caring, compassionate individuals. Within a couple of days, it was like everyone knew each other for weeks – and I think that is part of the management that kept us all together. I appreciate everything they have done for me and family. Thank you.”
- David, Guam
"I could not financially afford lodging and transportation while going through my cancer treatments. We were blessed and grateful to Hope Lodge...for providing everything one needs to go through cancer. Hope Lodge took the stress off our shoulders. Service from the staff was great. We are very grateful and ask for anyone to consider the importance of Hope Lodge to cancer patients of the Hawaiian Islands and the Pacific."

"My husband and I would like to thank the Staff at Hope Lodge. They are so helpful, so caring, so loving. They go beyond. Over 100%. We are blessed to have them all. When you come [to Hope Lodge], we are just like a big family. No matter who walks in or out the door. There's always a big smile no matter what."
- Frank & Ella, Moloka'i
"The best part of staying at Hope Lodge is the workers, volunteers, and patients. Being around other cancer patients I feel helps you heal. We've made many new friends through Hope Lodge. When I talk about my cancer journey to friends, I always talk about my experience at Hope Lodge. I don't know what we would do without this facility. People like me have a home away from home. Knowing we have a place stay without the financial burden really is a weight off our shoulders."
- Yvette, Kaua'i
"When my wife was scheduled for breast cancer surgery at Queen's Hospital, we were worried as to where we can stay for the duration of the operation and treatment. This was the first time we heard of Hope Lodge. When we went to visit Hope Lodge, we were so surprised how nice and convenient it was to Queen's Hospital. The facility was better than any hotel and the kitchen is to die for, like a restaurant kitchen. The staff at Hope Lodge are the best, they are so friendly and helpful, it made our stay so wonderful. We met so many nice people there and I know staying at Hope Lodge made their time much easier. We will be a supporter of American Cancer Society Hope Lodge for all they have done for us and for all the help they will give to future patients."
